Aroma Pearls™

Translucent polymer beads that soak up to 30% fragrance oil. No mess. Lasts for months!

Instructions based on 1/2 lb (8 oz) of Aroma Pearls
Recommended Supplies:
Aroma Pearls™
Larger Jar with Lid
Metal Spoon
Candle Dye
Fragrance Oil
Measuring Cup
Measuring Spoons

Place beads in jar.  Measure 2 TBS (tablespoons) of fragrance oil into a cup.  Add color to fragrance oil if desired. Pour oil into jar and put on lid tightly. Shake for approximate 1 minute and then at 5-10 minutes intervals for the next 30 minutes. Over the next few days, shake glass every few hours to coat beads.  After approximately 5 days (depending on oil), beads should be dry and ready to place in any container.  Don’t hesitate to show them off in your favorite glass dish. You can add foil cutouts for decoration purposes (i.e. – small foil hearts) and make a really nice gift or display.  Imagination is the limit.

Aroma Pearls Ornament Instructions
After Aroma Pearls™ have soaked up all the oil and color do the following Set oven for 350. Put cookie cutters on non-stick cookie sheet. Fill mold with aroma pearls about 1/4" deep. Heat for 5-10 min until melted (be sure and keep an eye on them). (Also, some smoking when you take them out is normal so don't get scared.) Wait for the cookie sheet to totally cool. Set in the freezer for a couple of minutes to help release from the sheet. Carefully remove the cookie cutter. Then "peel" the ornie off the cookie sheet. It may feel like it is stuck but when you get a little bit of an edge - it will peel off. Use a nail or a hole punch and string thread or ribbon through the hole. Should last a couple of months. They will NOT refresh. They are meant to be disposable.
